GIS Web Developer
at VSolvIT in St. Louis, MO (USA)
The Mid-Level Web Application Developer will be responsible for developing the web application tier for the Enterprise GIS applications that will be necessary for this project. This development effort will be primarily be at the client tier. The web application developer should have experience developing GIS web applications on the ESRI ArcGIS Server platform specifically using the JavaScript and/or Flash/Flex application development frameworks.
A Bachelors Degree in GIS, IT or related field.
· 5+ years experience working with Geographic Information System (GIS) technology—ESRI preferred (ArcGIS Server, ArcObjects, ArcSDE, ArcGIS, etc).
· 5+ years JavaScript and/or Flash/Flex experience
· Superior communication skills—both written and verbal.
· All successful candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents as required by the Government contract and willing to undergo a government security clearance background check.
