Urgent! junior Flex and Air application developer: UK

PixelMags require a Junior Flex and Air application developer to work as part of a small team, developing a new application to be deployed in browser and on the desktop. The developer will be involved in the initial project set-up and will be implementing new features and responsible for ongoing enhancement of the application into the future. The app will leverage our existing JSON REST APIs and implement features from our iPhone and iPad applications where appropriate.
The candidate will have knowledge of the Flex Framework (4.0), ActionScript (3.0) and Air integration and deployment. Experience with object orientated application development using the MVC pattern is preferred. Other technologies used frequently, and which the candidate should have working experience of, include: JSON, HTTP, XML, REST, Webkit specific XHTML CSS & Javascript, OpenSSL crypto keys and certificates. We use Macintosh computers for development and Git for version control.
The successful applicant will possess a methodical and meticulous approach to software engineering; both programming and process. Good communication skills are needed to document the process and work effectively with the small engineering team. This position would suit a recent graduate or college-leaver with some experience of web development technologies.
