Title:
Associate Flex Developer
Summary:
Responsible for assisting with ongoing Actionscript 3.0 development across a range of applications and platforms. The Associate Actionscript 3.0 Developer will be assigned work on new and existing applications including new features and bug fixes and will be expected to complete high quality code in a timely manner. Associate Actionscript 3.0 developers have a history of Actionscript and Flash development, good knowledge of the Flex Framework, an understanding of Design Patterns. Furthermore, they are able to learn quickly and are willing to be mentored.
Responsibilities:
• Write quality code in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Lead Developer to ensure smooth code integration.
• Ensure code is consistently version controlled.
• Take ownership of the code you write.
• Work with Lead Developer and Designers to ensure an exceptional user experience.
Experience Guidelines:
• At least 1 years experience with Adobe Flex Builder including 3.0 – 3.5 Frameworks.
• OOP theory and design patterns, including MVC.
• Web Services.
• MXML.
• Experience with the Adobe AIR platform a must.
• Experience deploying AIR applications over the web, including browser install and browser invocation.
• Knowledge of subversion and ideally subclipse.
• Quick learner.
• Ability to work with multiple developers on the same projects.
Bonus:
• Knowledge of ColdFusion.
• Knowledge of PHP.
• Knowledge of MySQL.
• Experience installing and using additional Eclipse plug-ins.
