Position Summary:
The Web Developer is responsible for daily application production support and maintenance. This is not a telecommuter or contractor position.

Mandatory Skill Sets:
• Coordination and documentation of project specifications, development timelines, and task lists.
• Ability to execute the development of business applications within designed project timelines and resource requirements.
• Debugging/QA and organization skills.
• Learns quickly and practically apply new concepts or principles.
• Ability to communicate with all departments and all organizational levels.
• Ability to coach and knowledge share with others and remain coachable.
• Ability to implement programming best practices and processes for all types of development work.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or college.
• 2+ Years experience developing dynamic web applications.
• Experience adapting frameworks and best practices established for the project or organization.
• Solid knowledge in relational database design and development. Strong SQL skills.
• T-SQL query and stored procedure development.
• Experience working with XML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience working with AJAX and HTML/DHTML.

Desired Qualifications:
• 1+ years experience with web applications built with Java using ColdFusion or JSP.
• 1+ years experience with jQuery.
• 1+ years experience of RIA development with Flex 3+.
• Experience with application frameworks, such as Spring, ColdSpring, Cairngorm, Swiz, CFWheels.
• Experience with issue-tracking software.
• Experience with Source Control tools (Subversion, Surround).
• Experience in with functional and unit testing frameworks such as MXUnit.
• Experience with a Mac-based development workstation and Eclipse-based IDEs.
• Experience with in using web services to interact with 3rd Party APIs such as SalesForce.com.

Able to demonstrate:

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for refactoring existing ColdFusion applications utilizing current best practices and coding standards.
• Responsible for testing applications across browsers and stress testing scenarios (load testing).
• Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed reports from custom usage databases.
• Handling development requests through an internal ticket system.
• Engage in weekly team meetings.

• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor or management team.
