Sr. Software Developer
at RevolutionEHR in United States (preferably mid-west)
Job Description - Experienced software developer for a web-based SaaS application in the healthcare space. As an integral part of the development team for an early stage growth company, you will be responsible for all aspects of the software life cycle – design, code, test, and support.
You will have the opportunity to work on many aspects of the product. The need to take on a variety of projects is an important attribute of the job. We are looking for a jack-of-all-software-trades rather than a narrowly focused specialist.
Company / Product - RevolutionEHR is an early stage, cutting-edge software company providing a web based Electronic Health Record and practice management solution for optometry. Our application is the leading web-based health record solution for optometry. The application is a RIA built on the Adobe Flex framework. The back-end is Java-based and utilizes MySQL. We are post-revenue with hundreds of doctors and well over 1000 users on the system.
Work environment - Our development team embraces a distributed, virtual work environment. As such, you will need to be highly independent, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. You will be required to work out of your home and will need to travel infrequently to Madison, WI for meetings. Our preference is to hire someone located within driving distance of Madison, but it is not a requirement.
Experience - We are looking for software developers with experience in creating production quality software applications, in a team environment, for a product that is marketed to a broad set of customers. Your background should include some of the following skills:
