Flex Heavy Hitter – Software Development Opportunity
About us:
Rad3 is a dedicated RIA development house, we use Adobe Flex to deliver applications for a range of clients, from small Web builds to large scale enterprise projects. We focus on design, functionality, aesthetics and interoperability of RIA’s. We are experiencing strong demand and as a result are looking for Flex Developers with horsepower. We provide an environment that is high on quality, technical leadership and big on results.
About you:
You’re a fantastic programmer who wants to grow with us and create powerful, elegant software. You like the idea of working closely in a well lead team to create world class RIA’s. You enjoy an inclusive working environment and like to collaborate with others.
You’re the one we’re looking for if you:
• Are an excellent programmer who will thrive in a small fast-paced professional development team.
• Know Flex/Actionscript from the inside out.
• Have great Object Oriented design and architecture skills.
• Write code that is easy for other programmers to understand and use.
• Have experience optimizing and profiling code.
• Have excellent spoken and written English. Some of your job will involve talking to our customers, and we like to make a good impression.
• Work well without being micromanaged.
• Have an eye for detail and a love of technology.
• Have experience working with version control systems (SVN, Git, etc).
• Have experience with ColdFusion.
• Have excellent debugging skills.
You will get bonus points if you:
• Have experience in iPhone, iPad, or Android development.
• Have experience in native languages (C, C++).
• Have experience writing server-client code or consuming web-based APIs.
• Enjoy darts, pool, paintball and great coffee.
Location:
We’re looking for someone to be based in our central Auckland office. If you are going to work with us you will need to be a NZ resident or at least be willing to become one. If you are interested in moving to Auckland and you are the right person then we are open to supporting you through the process including a contribution to relocation costs – hey it’s a great place to live and we are a great company to work for.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full time permanent position (40 hrs + /week), we offer excellent remuneration and we provide a fun interactive environment.
