Senior Application Architect/Flex Developer

Our company is developing a next generation cross-platform desktop/mobile language learning application for a large client. We are looking for a Senior level application architect/developer to join our small development team.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background with OOP(Actionscript,Java, Obj-c), Flex/Air, and the ability to create a solid maintainable architecture and implement the design.
Requires a Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent proven experience.
Position is for permanent employment but will consider a freelancer. Most work will be done on-site in south Orange County, CA.
Additional desirable skills:
Linux and security best practices
LAMP, subversion,
Requirements gathering
Software Testing
Development experience on both Mac and PC.
Project management and organizational skills
Experience building and deploying at least one commercial application.
Communicate well with customers and other developers.
Mobile application development experience with IOS and/or Android
