Flex/Flash Developer

We are seeking an experienced Flex/Flash developer who will help implement the user interface for a new kind of network and a class of valuable applications that improve building performance by saving energy, extending equipment life and improving labor efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years RIA development experience, a BSCS or MSCS degree and a large subset of the following skills and qualities:
Duties:
• Develop and deploy enterprise Flex RIA application
• Work with UI design team to develop Flex compatible screens.
• Develop/use graphic third-party components
• Respond to production issues as needed
Technical Skills/Experience:
• 5+ years of GUI development and deployment.
• Successful release of multiple RIA products
• Adobe Flex 3/4 SDK and the Flex Builder environment
• ActionScript 3.0
• Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, Refactoring.
• XML/HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
• LAMP stack
• A good understanding of the SDLC
• Experience with agile development methods and tools (i.e. XP, Scrum, etc.)
• History in PHP, Java web development & related technologies a big plus, including:
- Servlets, JSP, JDBC, Hibernate, EJB
- Application Server Experience (WebLogic, Tomcat, Resin, etc)
• Experience with IDE (NetBeans/Eclipse) and version control (SVN/CVS) tools.

• Excellent communication skills
• Can do attitude - enjoys new challenges
